Sh2-8 Cat's Paw Nebula is a challenging target for me because it transits at 17 degrees, so these subs have ranged from 14 to 17 degrees. Fortunately the shutter in my obs goes down to the horizon so I can see these low objects.

NGC 6334, colloquially known as the Cat's Paw Nebula, Bear Claw Nebula, or Gum 64, is an emission nebula and star-forming region located in the constellation Scorpius.

It is one of the most active star producing regions in the Milky Way.

The nebula is a high mass filamentary cloud structure spanning ~320 ly. Several embedded star-forming regions have been identified from infrared and radio emissions. Four of these sites have formed H II regions. (Wikipedia)
